Fifteen hours for each class over ten sessions: ten hours of swim instruction in the pool and five hours of water safety at the poolside. The curriculum is the Royal Life Saving Society of the Commonwealth's.
Each child gets a swimsuit, a swim cap, goggles and a towel, and a medal at the end.
